Kasango Samuel, the founder of Reality Foundation Mayuge, is a 26-year-old visionary from Mayuge, Uganda. His journey is rooted in hardship, resilience, and a deep desire to make a difference.
At the age of 8, Kasango tragically lost both of his parents to HIV/AIDS. While he was fortunate enough to be born HIV-negative, he faced the heartbreak of losing his beloved grandmother to breast cancer when he was just 16. Growing up as an orphan was a challenging experience, marked by emotional and financial struggles. Despite these hardships, Kasango found the strength to survive, driven by a will to overcome adversity.
A Turning Point: From Despair to Hope
At 22 years old, in 2018, Kasango made a life-changing decision. After witnessing the tragic loss of many lives around him, he realized that he needed to take action for the children who, like him, were suffering without support. He decided to establish a foundation that would help orphans and street children, providing them with a future filled with hope and opportunity.
The Birth of Reality Foundation Mayuge
Kasango founded Reality Foundation Mayuge with the aim of providing care, support, and resources to vulnerable children. His mission was clear: to offer a safe haven and access to education, healthcare, and basic needs for orphans who had no one else to turn to.
